On Tuesday I wrote about needing relief. Relief from myself. My whining and fretting and fussing.
Relief only comes from surrender. Surrendering to Jesus.
I have to seek Him. Be still in His presence.
When I let the impatience and discontent swirl through my thoughts, clouds of dust and debris obstruct the Truth. I can’t see Him. I only see me.
Paul warned about pride taking over and keeping people from Christ. He was talking about those criticizing and competing with him in ministry, but his verse in 2 Corinthians 10:5 is one the Holy Spirit uses to calm the storm in my own mind.
Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Surrendering to Him is where I find relief.
How about you?
